Privacy Policy

Overview

BlessingsWale("we", "us") provides a mobile application for creating and sharing devotional status stories. This policy describes what information the app and this website collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Display name — You may enter a name during onboarding. It is stored on your device and used to personalize creations. We do not require an account or password.
• Profile photo — Optional. If you choose a photo from your gallery or camera, it is stored locally on your device for use in the editor.
• Photos and media you create — Images and videos you compose in the app are processed on your device. When you save or share, content may be written to your device gallery or passed to apps you select (for example WhatsApp).
• App preferences — Language, favorites, and editor settings are stored locally using on-device storage.
• Random identifier — The app generates a random identifier stored on your device and sends it when fetching templates and stickers from our servers. This helps prevent abuse and rate limiting. It is not used to create a personal account and is not your hardware serial number.
• Advertising— The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and interaction data to serve and measure ads, per Google's policies.
• Analytics — We use Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used (for example which screens or export actions are used). Events do not include your display name or photos.

How we use information

• Provide core app features (templates, editor, export, share).
• Deliver remote template and sticker content from our servers.
• Protect our services from scraping and abuse (rate limits).
• Show and measure advertisements.
• Understand feature usage and improve the product (analytics).

What stays on your device

Your display name, optional profile photo, favorites, and most editor data remain on your device unless you share content to another app or save to your gallery. We do not operate a user login system for the app at this time.

Third-party services

We use trusted providers that process data under their own policies:

• Google AdMob — Google Privacy Policy
• Google Firebase Analytics — Google Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare — hosts our content delivery infrastructure.
• Share targets— When you tap Share, the app you choose (WhatsApp, etc.) receives the file you export under that app's policy.

Permissions

The Android app requires internet access to load templates and stickers. It may also request photos/media (optional profile and editor images) and storage/gallery access (to save exports). Denying optional permissions in system settings may limit those features.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Data retention and deletion

On-device data persists until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. Server-side rate-limit keys derived from IP and device identifier are short-lived operational data. To request help deleting information associated with our services, email blessingswale.support@gmail.com.

Security

Template and sticker downloads use HTTPS. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect data in transit.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
